BetweenLight is a creative studio and platform in active development, operated by Kyle Joyce ("we," "us"). This policy explains what information we collect, why, and the choices you have. If anything here is unclear, write to us — a human replies.

What we collect

Information you give us. When you apply for a class, contact us, join a waitlist, or make a purchase, we receive what you provide: typically your name, email address, and the contents of your message. Class applications may also include the background and goals you choose to share.

Order information. Purchases are processed through third-party storefronts and payment processors (such as Etsy, Printful, and Stripe). We receive the details needed to fulfill your order; we do not receive or store your full payment card information.

Automatically collected information. When you visit this site, standard technical data is collected by our hosting and analytics providers: IP address, browser and device type, pages visited, and referring pages. Cookies and similar technologies may be used to keep the site working and to understand aggregate usage.

How we use it

• To respond to inquiries and class applications — personally. BetweenLight is still building; if you reach out, we reply and keep your note on file so we can follow up when what you asked about opens.
• To fulfill orders and provide customer support.
• To operate, secure, and improve the site and our services.
• To send occasional updates you have asked for. We do not send marketing email to people who never asked.

What we don't do

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it for third-party advertising. We do not collect information knowingly from children — our classes and services are for adults 18 and over.

Sharing

We share information only with the service providers needed to run BetweenLight — hosting, analytics, storefront, fulfillment, and payment processing — and only for the purposes above. We may disclose information if required by law. If you interact with us through a third-party platform (for example Pinterest, Instagram, or Facebook), that platform's own privacy policy governs the information it collects.

Retention

We keep inquiry and application records for as long as they are useful for follow-up and our business records, and order records as required for accounting and legal obligations. You may ask us to delete your information at any time (see Contact).

Your choices

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by emailing us. You can disable cookies in your browser; parts of the site may work less well. If you receive an update email from us, you can opt out at any time.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
